Montana Cowboy, 1870's Colt Conversion
With the harsh winters of Montana starting early and ending late, a favorite accessory of these hardy cowboys were a pair of Angora fur chaps. With an 1861 Colt Army cartridge conversion revolver and a beautifully tooled holster and belt, this cowboy was better prepared than most. The stamp on the cartridge belt is 'Jos. Sullivan & Co. Ft. Benton MT.'
